Weekend with Clifford

Kadence brought Clifford home from school this weekend and had to put together a scrapbook page of her adventures with Clifford over the weekend. This is what she wrote,

"Clifford and I had a great weekend together. When we arrived home on Thursday afternoon, we had lunch followed by a nice little nap. My sister, Lily, loved Clifford too!! On Friday, Clifford stayed at the house while my Mom, Dad, sister and I went to see “Puss and Boots” in the movie theatre. On Saturday, Clifford got to go with my Dad and me to the JU football game. I saw some of my friends there and they loved Clifford too!! On Sunday, Clifford helped my Dad, sister and I wash our dog, Hazzard. We all got a little wet J. Finally, before bed on Sunday night Clifford helped me play “Angry Birds” on my Dad’s iPad. It was a wonderful weekend and I am so glad I got to spend it with my friend, Clifford!!"

Park Time with Daddy

It wasn't too cold today, so we went to the park for some playtime with Daddy. Kadence is starting to learn the monkey bars. It was awesome to watch Jon and Kadence work on hanging and swinging.

Park Time with the Glidewells

Kadence gets out of school at noon everyday, so Cari and I decided to pack some lunches and picnic at the park by the girls school one afternoon. The weather was perfect and I sure enjoyed the Mom to Mom talk!!

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun having Momo and Pops in town. The girls love getting dressed up and asking for candy!

I made mummy meatloaf for dinner. Meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potatoes on top and pea eyes. Kids actually ate dinner before trick or treating! Success.

Halloween Party!

We had a big Halloweeen party this year at the house to carve pumpkins and decorate Halloween cookies. We had about 15 kids at the house plus parents and Tia Tess and Uncle William joined us too. We had so much fun, made a huge mess and ate A LOT of sugar!! It was perfect.

The fun started the night before the party when we got to make, cut out and bake the cookies for the party.

Getting Ready for Halloween

We picked out our Halloween costumes today. We had to try them on as soon as we got home! So fun and they chose so appropriately!!

Painting

This is one of my favorite days in recent time. This is the first time that I have allowed Lilian to paint with real paint. She was AMAZED and I was amazed watching her take it all in. These pictures make me smile everything I look at them.
